  My dog recently suffered an IVDD episode. The Insurance Emporium agreed that the vetrenary surgery could claim direct, which saved me having to fork out a deposit of nearly £4000. Before the claim was approved, I looked at the reviews for this company, some of which were terrible, and I must admit I was concerned that they might try not to pay up. The payment was settled 13 weeks after the initial claim, which I found quite a long wait, but the surgery weren't bothered, so I wasn't either. From a bill of nearly £8000, I was required to pay £1200. This was due to the £250 per night hospital stay for two weeks. We were only covered for £40 per night, which is normally sufficient cover apparently. We have lifetime cover, so even after such a huge claim, our premium hasn't gone up. Every member of staff I spoke to were extremely helpful and understanding at what was a very stressful time for me. No other insurance company even came close to the amount of cover I have for the very little cost per month. I'm so pleased I came across you. Thanks x
